Kim Hak-bum
Kim Hak-bum (; born 1 March 1960) is a South Korean football manager who is the current manager of K League club Jeju SK. Club career Kim simultaneously joined K League club Kookmin Bank in 1983 when playing for Myongji University as a defender. Kim played 13 matches at the 1984 K League, and participated in the Korean Semi-professional League after Kookmin Bank withdrew from the K League in 1985. Coaching career Kim retired as a player in 1992, and came back to the bank's football team as a coach after working as a bank clerk for a year. He received the best coach award at the Korean National Championship after helping the club win the tournament in his first year as a coach. He was also appointed a coach of the South Korea national under-23 team in 1995, helping them prepare for the 1996 Summer Olympics. Gangneung

1984 K League
The 1984 Korean Super League was the second season of top football league in South Korea. A total of eight teams participated in the league. Six of them were professional teams ( Hallelujah FC, Yukong Elephants, Daewoo Royals, POSCO Dolphins, Lucky-Goldstar Hwangso, Hyundai Horang-i), and the other teams were semi-professional teams ( Hanil Bank and Kookmin Bank). It began on 31 March and ended on 11 November. It divided into two stages, and winners of each stage qualified for the championship playoffs. It gave 3 points for a win, 2 points for a draw, and 1 point for a draw without a goal. Chinese Super League
The Chinese Football Super League (), commonly known as the Chinese Super League or the CSL (), also known as the China Resources Beverage Chinese Football Super League for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in China and the highest level of the Chinese football league system. 2008 K League
The 2008 K League was the 26th season of the K League. The regular season and playoffs' format was the same as the one used in the 2007 season. It began on March 8, and the final of the playoffs finished on 7 December. On 2 August 2008, the first ever Jomo Cup kicked off. The K League All-Stars squared off against the J.League All-Stars at the Japan National Stadium. Lee Woon-jae was selected as the K League All-Star Team's captain and Cha Bum-kun managed the squad. 2007 AFC Champions League
The 2007 AFC Champions League was the 26th edition of the top-level Asian club football tournament and the 5th edition under the current AFC Champions League title. Japanese side Urawa Red Diamonds became champions for the first time, beating Sepahan F.C., Sepahan of Iran and becoming the fourth Japanese club to win the Asian championship, and qualified for the 2007 FIFA Club World Cup. The 2007 K League Championship was the eleventh competition of the K League Championship, and was held to decide the 25th champions of the K League. The top six clubs of the 2007 K League#Regular season, regular season qualified for the championship. The winners of the regular season directly qualified for the final, and second place team qualified for the semi-final. The other four clubs entered the first round, and the winners of the second round advanced to the semi-final. Each match was played as a single match, excluding the final which consisted of two matches. The 2007 K League was the 25th season of the K League. The format of the league was changed from two stages to single league since this season. Each team played 26 matches against every other teams under the home and away system. After the regular league was finished, the top six clubs qualified for the championship playoffs to determine champions. 2006 K League
The 2006 K League was the 24th season of the K League, which kicked off on March 12. The format of the regular season and playoffs was the same as the one used in the 2005 season. It took a break for the 2006 FIFA World Cup in June and July. The playoff games were held in November. SK Group, the owners of Bucheon SK, moved their club to Jeju, and renamed the club Jeju United. Cha Kyung-bok
Cha Kyung-bok (10 January 1937 – 31 October 2006) was a South Korean football manager. Playing career A native of Jeongeup, Jeonbuk, Cha graduated from Joongdong High School in 1959 and received a bachelor's degree from Kyung Hee University in 1968. He played as a national player during his student days and won two AFC Youth Championships. He also played a group match against United Arab Republic in the 1964 Summer Olympics, but lost the match 10–0. He played for Cheil Industries and Industrial Bank of Korea during his semi-professional career after graduating from university. Coaching career On 27 December 1972, Cha got a five-month suspension due to having a fight with an opponent in the middle of a match. Around the same time, he retired as a player and became a coach of Industrial Bank. On 23 September 1975, he played a match as a substitute player due to lack of players in the club. 1997 Asian Financial Crisis
The 1997 Asian financial crisis gripped much of East Asia, East and Southeast Asia during the late 1990s. The crisis began in Thailand in July 1997 before spreading to several other countries with a ripple effect, raising fears of a worldwide economic meltdown due to financial contagion.
