Kimberly M. Foxx ( Anderson; born April 9, 1972) is an American politician who served as Cook County State's Attorney, State's Attorney (district attorney) for Cook County, Illinois from 2016 to 2024. She managed the second largest prosecutor's office in the United States, consisting of approximately 700 attorneys and 1,100 employees. In 2016 Cook County, Illinois elections#State's Attorney, 2016, she won the Democratic Party (United States), Democratic nomination for State's Attorney against incumbent Anita Alvarez and went on to win the general election. Aramis Ayala (born February 2, 1975) is an American politician and prosecutor who was the state attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida.
