Kim Fajardo
Kim Alano Fajardo (born September 30, 1993) is a Filipino volleyball athlete. She was the team captain of the De La Salle University women's volleyball team for Season 78 and 79. Career Fajardo first played volleyball when she was in Grade 2. In high school, she was a member of the UST Junior Golden Tigresses, where she played as a utility spiker, later converted to setter after Rhea Katrina Dimaculangan graduated high school. She was teammates with Alyssa Valdez Alyssa Caymo Valdez (; born June 29, 1993) is a Filipino volleyball player who currently plays for the Creamline Cool Smashers. Jamenea "Jem" Ferrer is a Filipina volleyball player. She was a 3-time UAAP best setter awardee while playing for the Ateneo Blue Eagles, Ateneo university Lady Eagles volleyball team. She was a member of Fab 5 together with Dzi Gervacio, Fille Cainglet–Cayetano, Gretchen Ho and A Nacachi. Career Ferrer won the UAAP Best Setter awards three times when she won the award in the 2009-2010 Season 72, 2010-2011 Season 73 and the 2012-2013 Season 75. She was the 2011 Shakey's V-League Season 8 1st Conference Finals Most Valuable Player, after guiding her team to the league championship. 2016 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship
The 2016 FIVB Women's Club World Championship was the 10th edition of the event. It was held for the first time in the Philippines, on 18–23 October 2016 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. For the first time, eight teams competed, including four wild cards. The Philippine Super Liga and Eventcourt was in charge of organizing the tournament, together with the Larong Volleyball sa Pilipinas, Inc. (LVPI), the national federation for volleyball. Turkey's Eczacıbaşı VitrA defeated Italy's Pomì Casalmaggiore in the final to become the first team in history to claim the title a second time after their 2015 success. It competed as a club team in international club tournaments outside the Philippines such as the AVC Club Volleyball Championship and the FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship. History 2016 Thai-Denmark Super League The Philippine Super Liga was invited to participate in the 2016 Women's Volleyball Thai-Denmark Super League in Bangkok, Thailand.
