Kim Bo-ra (politician)
Kim Bo-ra (; born 8 September 1969) is a South Korean politician serving as mayor of Anseong in Gyeonggi Province having taken office in April 2020. She is the city's first ever female mayor. Before entering politics in 2014, Kim led various non-governmental organisations on social enterprise, medical cooperatives and local social welfare. In the 2014 election, Kim was placed as number 3 of the proportional list of her party for Gyeonggi Provincial legislature. Since then, she took numerous roles in Gyeonggi Assembly, Gyeonggi branch of her party and her party at Gyeonggi Assembly. She also took multiple roles in her party - vice chair of its Social economy Committee, Special Committee on Fine Dust and Women's Committee as well as director of Social Economy centre of party thinktank. Anseong
Anseong (; ) is a city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, south of Seoul. Anseong promotes itself as "The City of Masters". It is known for producing brassware and arts and crafts. From late spring to fall, Anseong holds its own Namsadang Neuri Festival. Sangmyung University () is a private university in South Korea with the main campus in Jongno District, Jongno, Seoul, and an auxiliary campus in Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do. It was established in 1937, with the Sangmyung Women's College being founded in 1965, and the Sangmyung Women's College in Cheonan in 1985. The Democratic Party of Korea (DPK or DP; , ) is a liberal political party in South Korea. The DPK and its rival, the People Power Party (PPP), form the two major political parties of South Korea.
