Kill The Wicked!
''Kill the Wicked!'' (, also known as ''God Does Not Pay on Saturday'' and ''Kill the Wickeds'') is a 1967 Italian Spaghetti Western film directed by Tanio Boccia and starring Larry Ward and Rod Dana. Plot The outlaw Braddock is to be hanged in the town for his crimes, but his comrades rescue him from execution. The gang hides out at an abandoned fort to rendezvous with Braddock's girlfriend Shelley. Randall is injured during a heist and left for dead. Lester, Braddock, and Shelley then hole up in a ghost town with their treasure. A drifter Ben comes upon a stranded woman, Judy, and lends her a hand. Meanwhile, Braddock discovers a mysterious old woman Molly living in the ghost town just as Ben and Judy arrive. Not believing their backstories, the gang interrogates the pair. Tanio Boccia
Camillo Tanio Boccia (15 June 1911 – 12 March 1982), was an Italian film director and screenwriter active between the 1950s and the early 1970s. From 1960 onwards, he was regularly credited as Amerigo Anton. Career Born in Potenza, Basilicata, he started as a dancer and choreographer in Rome in the 1930s, later moving on to act in regional, dialectal stage plays. He had a small role in ''Variety Lights'' (1951) by Alberto Lattuada and Federico Fellini, his first and sole performance as a film actor. Boccia directed 20 low-budget films in his career. He is best known for his work in the adventure film genre, particularly Peplum (film genre), peplum, in the early 1960s with films such as ''Caesar the Conqueror'' (1962), ''Samson Against the Pirates'' (1963) and ''Hercules of the Desert ''(1964). This list of spaghetti Westerns includes Western films, primarily produced and directed by Italian production companies between 1913 and 1978. For a list of non-Italian produced European Westerns, see the list of Euro-Western films. In the 1960s, the spaghetti Western genre grew in popularity. Films, particularly those of the influential Dollars trilogy, spawned numerous films of the same ilk and often with similar titles, particularly from the mid to late 1960s and early 1970s. By the end of the 1970s, spaghetti Westerns had lost their following among mainstream cinema audiences and the production had ground to a virtual halt. Benito Stefanelli
Benito Stefanelli (2 September 1928 – 18 December 1999) was an Italian film actor, stuntman and weapons master who made over 60 appearances in film between 1955 and 1991. Biography and career Stefanelli is best known in world cinema for his roles as henchmen in several of Sergio Leone's Spaghetti Western films, portraying gang members in the trilogy of films ''A Fistful of Dollars'' (1964), ''For a Few Dollars More'' (1965), and ''The Good, the Bad and the Ugly'' (1966). He played the town drunk in '' Wanted'' (1967) starring Giuliano Gemma and Serge Marquand. In his career, Stefanelli appeared in countless other western films and he worked simultaneously as a stunt coordinator (particularly during the 1960s and early 1970s) on the films that he performed in including those of Sergio Leone. Larry Ward (actor)
Larry Ward (October 3, 1924 – February 16, 1985) was an American actor who appeared in many films and television series. He was sometimes credited under the name Ward Gaynor. Biography Ward was born in Columbus, Ohio. His father was a former college football coach and a member of the Ohio State Senate. Ward studied at a number of universities before joining the United States Navy, where he served for three years. Enrolling in the American Theatre Wing under the G.I. Bill of Rights, Ward soon appeared in several outstanding productions. He turned his talents to writing but also kept his hand in the acting profession by appearing in a television soap opera titled ''The Brighter Day'' in 1954. María Silva (16 August 1941 – 17 March 2023) was a Spanish film and television actress. She was born on 16 August 1941 in Palencia. She made her debut in 1959 with the stage name Mara Silva, including ''Don José, Pepe y Pepito'' (1959) or '' Margarita se llama mi amor'' (1961). During the 1960s she gained recognition on spaghetti western films and thrillers like ''El sátiro'' (1970). At the end of 1960s she performed in zarzuelas for Televisión Española under the direction of Juan de Orduña. She retired from the big screen at the beginning of 1990. She died on 17 March 2023 at the age of 81.
