Kil (sometimes called ''Sannidal'') is a village in Kragerø Municipality in Telemark county, Norway. The village is located along the European route E18 highway, at the innermost part of the Kilsfjorden. The village lies about west of the villages of Vadfoss and Helle and about to the northwest of the town of Kragerø. Sannidal Church is located just west of the village. Kilsfjord, Telemark
Kilsfjord is a fjord in Kragerø Municipality in Telemark county, Norway. It is one of the inner fjords that flow out into the main Kragerøfjorden. The Kilsfjord extends west from Tåtøy, an island in the archipelago just south of the town of Kragerø. The fjord goes in a westerly direction from Tåtøy and it broadens further in. It then turns to the north and narrows sharply again, before ending at the village of Kil at the head of the fjord. The Kragerø River (''Kragerøvassdraget'') flows into the north eastern side of the fjord, about three miles west of the town of Kragerø. Highway 351 follows the south side of the fjord. Sannidal Church
Sannidal Church () is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Kragerø Municipality in Telemark county, Norway. It is located in the village of Sannidal. It is the church for the Sannidal parish which is part of the Bamble prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Agder og Telemark. The white, wooden church was built in a cruciform design in 1772 using plans drawn up by an unknown architect. The church seats about 330 people. The church lies next to the old main road going south from Oslo to Kristiansand. Outside the church there is a big churchyard with two tall monuments to commemorate the men lost at war. The one to the south of the church is a reminder of the Napoleonic Wars (1807–1814) when Norway was part of the Kingdom of Denmark-Norway and was fighting on Napoleon's side against the British fleet. Kragerø is a town that is the administrative centre of Kragerø Municipality in Telemark county, Norway. The town is located on the shore of the Kilsfjord, about to the southeast of the villages of Vadfoss and Helle. Kragerø Church is located in the town centre. Helle is a village in Kragerø Municipality in Telemark county, Norway. The village is located on the north shores of Hellefjorden about northeast of the town of Kragerø. The village is located along the river Kammerfosselva, about midway betweenthe villages of Helle to the east and Kil to the west. European route E18 runs between Craigavon, County Armagh, Craigavon in Northern Ireland and Saint Petersburg in Russia, passing through Scotland, England, Norway, Sweden and Finland.
