Khorasan Square
Khorasan Square is a square in the southeast of Tehran that reaches from the north side to 17th Shahrivar Street and finally to Imam Hossein Square and from the south side to Besat Highway. Khorasan Square is mainly referred to the neighborhoods around it. History In the distant past, Khorasan Square was one of the gates of Tehran and one of the old neighborhoods of the capital, which is the birthplace of famous people. 17th Shahrivar Street
17th of Shahrivar Street (خیابان هفده شهریور in Persian) is a main road in the south east of Tehran, connecting Khorasan Square to Shohada Square to the north and passing Khorasan Square further to the south towards Shoosh square. History The street was called Shahbaz before the Islamic Revolution and was named after the event of protest in Shohada Square on 17th of Shahrivar in Persian Calendar which was on 8 September 1978. Toopkhaneh
ToopKhāneh (; which literally means "Artillery Barracks"), also spelt as Tūpkhāneh, is a major town square ('' Maidan-e Toopkhaneh'') and a neighborhood in the south of the central district of Tehran, Iran. Qeytarieh (also spelled Gheytarieh) is a neighbourhood in northern Tehran, located within the larger Shemiran district. Qeytarieh has a park with the same name.
