Khong Island or Don Khong () is the largest island and the seat of administration in the Si Phan Don riverine archipelago located in the Mekong River, Khong District, Champasak Province, southern Laos Laos, officially the Lao People's Democratic Republic (LPDR), is the only landlocked country in Southeast Asia. Lawrence Khong Kin Hoong (born 17 July 1952) is a Singaporean Christian religious leader and a magician. Khong is the founder and overseer of Faith Community Baptist Church in Singapore and the former chairman of LoveSingapore, a network of about 100 socially conservative Singaporean churches. Khong is also the founder and chairman of TOUCH Community Services, a non-profit, non-religious welfare organization. Early life and education Khong is the son of a businessman and a housewife. Yuen Foong Khong
Yuen Foong Khong (; born 1956) is the Singaporean Li Ka Shing Professor of Political Science at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore. He was previously Professor of International Relations at Nuffield College, University of Oxford. Prior to that, he was Associate Professor of Government at Harvard University. A cited expert whose highest cited paper is ''Analogies at War: Korea, Munich, Dien Bien Phu, and the Vietnam Decisions of 1965'' at 894 times, according to GoogleScholar. Kelvin Khong Boon Leong is a Singaporean former major-general who served as Chief of Air Force from 2019 to 2024. Education Khong was educated at Hwa Chong Junior College and attended the flight training programme at Singapore Youth Flying Club, where he was the Best Trainee in Flying upon graduation in 1995. In 1999, after being awarded the Singapore Armed Forces Overseas Scholarship, Khong graduated from Imperial College London with a Master of Engineering in aeronautical engineering. Rachel Khong (born 1985) is an American writer and editor based in Los Angeles as of 2021. Life Khong was born in Malaysia to a Malaysian Chinese family, but they soon moved to the United States when she was two. She grew up in Rancho Cucamonga, California and attended high school in nearby Diamond Bar, California. Khong attended Yale University and graduated with a degree in English in 2007. In 2011, she received her MFA from the University of Florida, where she studied with Padgett Powell.
