Kheibar Shekan
Kheibar Shekan or Kheibarshekan () is an Iranian solid-fuel medium-range ballistic missile operated by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Aerospace Force. It is of the third generation of IRGC missiles and was unveiled in 2022 at a ceremony attended by Iranian military commanders on the 43rd anniversary of the Iranian Revolution. The missile is propelled by solid fuel and its warhead is maneuverable in terminal phase with the objective of evading air defenses. It has the ability to hit targets with a range and a radius of 1,450 kilometers (900 miles). Name "Kheibar" alludes to a fort near Medina, Khaybar, which was populated by Jews and was in 628 A.D. attacked and conquered by Muslims led by Muhammad. "Shekan" means "destroyer" or "breaker". Fattah-1 () is an Iranian hypersonic medium-range ballistic missile developed by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and unveiled in June 2023. Soumar (missile)
The Soumar (Persian: سومار) is an Iranian long-range cruise missile. The missile was named in the honour of a village called Soumar, whose inhabitants were all killed when Saddam Hussein’s regime attacked the village with chemical weapons. It is highly likely that the missile is derived from the Russian / Soviet Kh-55, several of which were illegally sold to Iran by Ukraine in 2001. Khalij-e Fars (, "Persian Gulf") is an Iranian single-stage solid-propellant, supersonic anti-ship quasi ballistic missile with a range of 300 km based on the Fateh-110 missile. It is equipped with a 650 kg explosive warhead and an interception evading guidance system. Sejil, or Sejjil, () is a family of Iranian solid-fueled medium range ballistic missiles. The Sejil are replacements for the Shahab liquid-fueled ballistic missiles. The Zolfaghar () missile is an Iranian road-mobile, single-stage, solid-propelled SRBM named after Zulfiqar the sword of Ali ibn Abi Talib. October 2024 Israeli Strikes On Iran
On 26 October 2024, Israel launched three waves of strikes against 20 locations in Iran and other locations in Iraq, and Syria, codenamed Operation Days of Repentance () by Israel. It was the largest attack on Iran since the Iran–Iraq War. Israel said the strikes were launched in response to the Iranian strikes against Israel earlier that month.
