Khashuri Municipality ( ka, ხაშურის მუნიციპალიტეტი) is a municipality of Georgia, in the region of Shida Kartli. Khashuri municipality is located at 690 meters above sea level. It is bordered on the east and north by Kareli Municipality, on the north by Sachkhere Municipality, on the south and west by Borjomi Municipality, and on the west by Kharagauli Municipality. Area of Khashuri municipality is 585.2 km2. The total length of the boundaries of the municipality is 118 kilometers. Distance from the capital to Khashuri is 120 km, and from the regional center is 47 km. Khashuri Municipality also has a favorable strategic location, as it is located at the crossroads of Eastern, Western and Southern Georgia. The church of Tsromi ( ka, წრომის ტაძარი)is an early medieval church in village Tsromi, in the vicinity of town Khashuri, in Shida Kartli region of Georgia. It is situated at the center of the village, along the right side of the river Mtkvari ( Kura). Ali (village)
Ali is a village in Georgia, Shida Kartli region, in Khashuri Municipality. The village is located on the right bank of Cheratkhevi river, 25 km to the North-East from Khashuri. The epochal monuments are: Dedaghvtisa, Kviratskhoveli, Usaneti, Janiaurebi churches. Ali was one of the advanced city of Middle Age Georgia. The reason of this development was its convenient geographical location. Ali advanced is a city in the 11th – 12th centuries due to the famous trade-caravan routes which passed through it and was a historic cross – road of Eastern and Western Georgia. Kvishkheti
The village Kvishkheti is located in the Khashuri district of the Shida Kartli region in the Republic of Georgia. It is situated between the Likhi mountain range to the west and the Trialeti Range to the east, and the Mtkvari River flows nearby.
