Kharkiv Border Aviation Squadron
The 26th Separate Kharkiv Aviation Squadron (1467) is an aviation squadron of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine with permanent basing of aviation forces and assets at the Kharkiv International Airport and Kyiv International Airport. It was established in 1993 as has seen combat during the Russo-Ukrainian war. It utilizes both fixed wing and rotor wing aircraft for its operations. Robinson R66
The Robinson R66 is a helicopter designed and built by Robinson Helicopter Company. It has five seats, a separate cargo compartment and is powered by a Rolls-Royce RR300 turboshaft engine. The R66 is slightly faster and smoother than the piston-powered Robinson R44 from which it is derived. The Diamond DA40 Diamond Star is an Austrian four-seat, single-engine, light aircraft constructed from composite materials.
