Khalid Bin Salman Al Saud
Prince Khalid bin Salman Al Saud ( ''Khālid bin Salmān Āl Suʿūd''; born 1988) is a Saudi Arabian diplomat and politician who serves as the Saudi Arabian Minister of Defense. He was appointed Defense Minister on 27 September 2022. He is a grandson of the founder of Saudi Arabia, King Abdulaziz, the tenth child and ninth son of King Salman, and a younger brother of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman. According to a leaked CIA assessment, Prince Khalid was involved in the assassination of Jamal Khashoggi, instructing Khashoggi to go to the Saudi consulate in Istanbul where Khashoggi was subsequently strangled and dismembered. The King Faisal Air Academy () is a military officers' academy and flight school in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia founded in 1968. Assassination Of Jamal Khashoggi
On 2 October 2018, Jamal Khashoggi, a Saudi dissident journalist, was killed by agents of the Saudi government at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, Turkey. Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (; born 31 December 1935) has been King of Saudi Arabia since 2015, and was Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia from 2015 to 2022.
