Keyou Craver
Keyuo Boderek Craver (born August 22, 1980) is an American former professional football player who was a defensive back in the National Football League (NFL) and Canadian Football League (CFL). In January 2015, he joined the Omaha Beef of Champions Indoor Football (CIF) as an assistant coach. Playing career He played high school football at Harleton High School in Harleton, Texas. He also won state in the triple jump. While he wanted to play football for Texas A&M, he received a full scholarship from college football the University of Nebraska and was selected in the fourth round (125th overall) of the 2002 NFL draft by the New Orleans Saints. Craver spent three seasons with the Saints where he started 22 total games. He recorded 22 tackles and three assists while with the team. A highlight of Craver's time with the Saints came in 2002 when he scooped up a fumble and raced in for a touchdown against the Packers. The Omaha Beef are a professional indoor American football, indoor football team based in Omaha, Nebraska. The Beef plays their home games at Liberty First Credit Union Arena in nearby Ralston, Nebraska, Ralston. The Beef competes in the National Arena League (NAL). 2000 Nebraska Cornhuskers Football Team
The 2000 Nebraska Cornhuskers football team represented the University of Nebraska–Lincoln as a member of the North Division of the Big 12 Conference during the 2000 NCAA Division I-A football season. Led by third-year head coach Frank Solich, the Cornhuskers compiled an overall record of 10–2 with a mark of 6–2 in conference play, sharing the Big 12's North Division with Kansas State. By virtue of a head-to-head lost to the Wildcats, Nebraska was left out of the Big 12 Championship Game. The Cornhuskers were invited to the Alamo Bowl, where they defeated Northwestern. The team played home games at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska. The Cornhusker's 2000 Red-White spring game featured Nebraska's first (and currently only) female player: KaLena "Beanie" Barnes, a senior sprinter for Nebraska's women's track-and-field teams, played in spring practice as a punter and recorded one 35-yard punt. 1999 NCAA Division I FBS Football Season
The 1999 NCAA Division I-A football season saw Florida State named national champions, defeating Virginia Tech in the BCS Sugar Bowl. Florida State became the first team in history to start out preseason No. 1 and remain there through the entire season. Their 12–0 season gave them 109 victories in the '90s, the most for any decade. Virginia Tech also had a remarkable season behind freshman quarterback Michael Vick, who was being touted as college football's best player.
