Keya Group () is a Bangladeshi diversified conglomerate based in Dhaka. The company was founded by Abdul Khalek Pathan in 1983. It is one of the largest cosmetic brands in Bangladesh. History Keya Cosmetics Limited was established in 1996. Its founder and chairperson is Abdul Khaleque Pathan. It paid 10 to 50 percent dividends on its stocks in 2001. Keya Detergent Limited and Keya Soap Chemicals Limited were merged with Keya Cosmetics Limited in 2010. Keya Soap Chemicals was the only company not listed on the Dhaka Stock Exchange. Keya Cosmetics announced that it will sponsor Suhrawardy Cup National under-19 football championship. Keya Cotton Mills, Keya Knit Composite, and Keya Spinning Mills were merged in 2015 with Keya Cosmetics. The Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) is the regulator of the capital market of Bangladesh, comprising Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE). The commission is a statutory body and attached to the Ministry of Finance. History BSEC was established on 8 June 1993 under the Securities and Exchange Commission Act, 1993. Sultan-uz Zaman Khan, a career bureaucrat, was the first commissioner of the commission. Before the commission, the market were regulated under the Capital Issues Act 1947. The chairman and members of the commission are appointed by the government and have overall responsibility to administer securities legislation. Pubali Bank PLC. () is the largest commercial bank in Bangladesh. It has more branches than any other autonomous bank in the country. Monzurur Rahman is the present chairman of the bank. History Pubali Bank was started in East Pakistan as Eastern Mercantile Bank Limited in 1959 under the Bank Companies Act 1913 by Bengali businessmen. Khulna University () is a public university, public research university at Gollamari in Khulna, Bangladesh. It was established in 1991.
