Tuschen
Tuschen is a village in the Essequibo Islands-West Demerara Region of Guyana. It is located along the Atlantic Ocean coast. The original name of the village was ''Tuschen de Vrienden'' (Dutch language, Dutch for between friends). During the 20th century, it was a small village. The Tuschen Housing Scheme resulted in a considerable growth, and is one of the largest housing schemes in Guyana. Overview The village started as sugar plantation Tuschen de Vrienden, and developed into a small rural community. In 1890, a railway station was opened in Tuschen on the Demerara-Essequibo railway. The line operated until 1974. In the early 21st century, the Tuschen Housing Scheme was developed to transform the abandoned sugar estates into housing. 2015–16 Regional Super50
The 2015–16 NAGICO Super50 was the 42nd edition of the Regional Super50, the domestic limited-overs cricket competition for the countries of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB). The tournament was co-hosted by Saint Kitts and Trinidad and Tobago, with the final held at Queen's Park Oval, Port of Spain. Eight teams participated in the competition – the six regular teams of West Indian domestic cricket (Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, the Leeward Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, and the Windward Islands), plus two development teams (Combined Campuses and Colleges and ICC Americas). Assad Badyr Fudadin (born 1 August 1985) is a West Indian cricketer who plays for the Guyana national team and the West Indies. Born in Guyana, he bats left-handed just like Devendra Bishoo, Shimron Hetmyer , Chandrapaul Hemraj and Sherfane Rutherford does but bowls right-arm medium-fast. In 2000, he was selected to play for the West Indies Under-15s team at the Costcutter Under-15s World Challenge, at which he top-scored in the final with 55 off 92 balls as the West Indies beat Pakistan.
