Kevin Rechin
Kevin Rechin is a cartoonist who drew the syndicated ''Crock (comic strip), Crock'' comic strip and also creates cartoon illustrations for major publications. Born in Washington, D.C., Rechin grew up in the suburbs of Springfield, Virginia. After graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1989, Rechin worked with small daily newspapers until he was hired as a staff artist at ''USA Today'' where he created cover illustrations, caricatures and informational graphics. He began as a freelancer in 1999, eventually contributing to ''Time (magazine), Time'', ''Forbes'', ''The Wall Street Journal'', the ''National Geographic (magazine), National Geographic'' and other leading publications. Nick Galifianakis () is an American cartoonist and artist. Since 1997, he has drawn the cartoons for the nationally syndicated advice column ''Carolyn Hax,'' formerly, ''Tell Me About It'' – authored by his ex-wife, writer, and columnist for ''The Washington Post'', Carolyn Hax. Galifianakis illustrated the book ''Tell Me About It: Lying, Sulking, Getting Fat ... and 56 Other Things NOT to Do While Looking for Love'', authored by Hax in 2001. Falls Church is an independent city in the Commonwealth of Virginia. As of the 2020 census, the population was 14,658. Falls Church is included in the Washington metropolitan area. Taking its name from The Falls Church, an 18th-century Church of England (later Episcopal Church) parish, Falls Church gained township status within Fairfax County in 1875.
