Kevin Mulryan
Kieran Mulryan (born 1981) is an Irish Gaelic footballer who played as a midfielder for the Tipperary senior team. Born in Templemore, County Tipperary, Mulryan first arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of sixteen when he first linked up with the Tipperary minors teams as a dual player before later joining the under-21 sides. He made his senior debut during the 2001 championship. Mulryan immediately became a regular member of the starting fifteen and won one Tommy Murphy Cup medal. At club level Mulryan plays both Gaelic football and hurling with J. K. Bracken's. Mulryan retired from inter-county football on 30 December 2010. In retirement from playing Mulryan became involved in team management and coaching. He has served as a selector with the Tipperary minor team. The Tipperary County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) ( ga, Cumann Lúthchleas Gael Coiste Chontae Thiobraid Árann) or Tipperary GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Tipperary and the Tipperary county teams. County Tipperary holds an honoured place in the history of the GAA as the organisation was founded in Hayes' Hotel, Thurles, on 1 November 1884. The 2012 All-Ireland Minor Football Championship was the premier "knockout" competition for under-18 competitors who play the game of Gaelic football in Ireland. The games were organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association. The 2012 series of games started in April with the majority of the games played during the summer months. Munster Minor Football Championship
The Munster Minor Football Championship is an annual Gaelic football competition organised by the Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association since 1928 for the youngest competitors (under-18) in the province of Munster in Ireland. It is currently sponsored by Electric Ireland and therefore officially known as the Electric Ireland Munster GAA Football Minor Championship. The series of games are played during the summer months with the Munster final currently being played on the second Sunday in July. The minor final provides the curtain-raiser to the senior final. The winning team is presented with the Tadhg Crowley Cup. This was presented by Munster Council in 1990 to commemorate Tadhg Crowley, who was elected as Munster Council Treasurer in 1968 and served until his death in December 1989. 1999 All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship
The 1999 All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship was the 69th staging of the All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1928. The championship began on 24 April 1999 and ended on 12 September 1999. Cork entered the championship as the defending champions, however, they were beaten by Clare in the Munster semi-final. On 12 September 1999, Galway won the championship following a 0-13 to 0-10 defeat of Tipperary in the All-Ireland final. This was their fourth All-Ireland title overall and their first title in 1994. 2005 Tommy Murphy Cup
The 2005 Tommy Murphy Cup was the 2nd staging of the Tommy Murphy Cup, the Gaelic Athletic Association's secondary inter-county Gaelic football tournament. The draw for the preliminary round fixtures took place on 9 July 2005. The championship began on 16 July 2005 and ended on 4 September 2005. Clare were the defending champions but they did not enter the championship. On 4 September 2005, Tipperary won the championship following a 3-10 to 0-15 defeat of Wexford in the final. Templemore () is a town in County Tipperary, Ireland. It is a civil parish in the historical barony of Eliogarty. It is part of the parish of Templemore, Clonmore and Killea in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cashel and Emly. The 2011 Census results show that the town's population decreased by 13.8% from 2,255 in 2006 to 1,943 in 2011. Location and access Templemore is the eighth largest town in County Tipperary. The N62 national route connects the town to the main Dublin-Limerick motorway ( M7 – Junction 22) and Roscrea north of the parish. Hurling ( ga, iománaíocht, ') is an outdoor team game of ancient Gaelic Irish origin, played by men. One of Ireland's native Gaelic games, it shares a number of features with Gaelic football, such as the field and goals, the number of players and much terminology. The same game played by women is called camogie ('), which shares a common Gaelic root.
