Kevin Moran (footballer)
Kevin Bernard Moran (born 29 April 1956) is an Irish former footballer who excelled at the top levels in two codes: Gaelic and the association brand. In the sport of hurling his earliest appearance in Croke Park saw him and his team mates from CBS James Street lift the Fianna Fail Hurling Cup in 1967/68. Those early days set the seeds for his future success in Gaelic Football on the great Dubs team of the late 70s. Dublin county team, winning two All-Ireland Senior Football Championships with them, and in association football for his career with Blackburn Rovers, Manchester United and Ireland. In 1985 he became the first man to be sent off in an FA Cup Final. Early life Moran grew up in Rialto, Dublin until his early teens, before he moved to the Long Mile Road in Walkinstown. Kevin Moran (hurler)
Kevin Moran (born 3 March 1987) is an Irish hurler who plays for De La Salle and formerly of the Waterford county hurling team. He is also a teacher in De La Salle College Waterford. Moran made his first appearance for the team during the 2006 championship and became a regular member of the starting fifteen over the following few seasons. Since then he has won two Munster winners' medals, two National League winners' medals and one All-Star award. Moran has ended up as an All-Ireland runner-up on three occasions. At club level Moran is a two-time Munster medalist with De La Salle. In addition to this he has also won three county club championship winners' medals. Playing career Club Moran plays his club hurling with the De La Salle club and has enjoyed much success.
