Kevin Jones (basketball)
Kevin Andrew Jones (born August 25, 1989) is an American professional basketball player for Sun Rockers Shibuya of the B.League in Japan. He played college basketball for West Virginia University, where he was an All-American. High school career Jones attended Mount Vernon High School in Mount Vernon, New York. As a junior, he averaged 21 points, 12 rebounds, two blocks per game. As a senior, he averaged 23 points, 14 rebounds, and two blocks per game. In 2006 and 2007, he led Mount Vernon to the New York State PHSAA championships. College career In his freshman season at West Virginia, Jones posted eight games in double figures, including a stretch of six games in a row during Big East play. In 35 games, he averaged 6.3 points and 4.9 rebounds in 19.3 minutes per game. 2016–17 VTB United League
The 2016–17 VTB United League was the 8th complete season of the VTB United League. It is also the fourth season that the league functions as the Russian basketball league system, Russian domestic first tier level. PBC CSKA Moscow, CSKA Moscow was the defending champion and successfully defended its title. This season, 13 teams participated in the league after four sides from the previous year left. Teams B.C. Byron Scott (basketball)
Byron Antom Scott (born March 28, 1961) is an American former professional basketball player and head coach in the National Basketball Association (NBA). As a role player, Scott won three NBA championships with the Los Angeles Lakers during their Showtime era in the 1980s. He was named the NBA Coach of the Year with the New Orleans Hornets (now Pelicans) in 2008. Early life and college career Scott grew up in Inglewood, California, and played at Morningside High School, in the shadow of what was then the Lakers' home arena, The Forum. He played college basketball at Arizona State University for three years and had a successful career with the Sun Devils. He was Pac-10 Freshman of the Year in 1980 and First-team All-Pac-10 in 1983. The ''Parade'' All-America Boys Basketball Team was an annual selection by ''Parade'' that nationally honored the top high school boys' basketball players in the United States. It was part of the ''Parade'' All-American series that originated with boys basketball before branching to other sports.
