Kevin J. Anderson
Kevin James Anderson (born March 27, 1962) is an American science fiction author. He has written spin-off novels for ''Star Wars'', '' StarCraft'', ''Titan A.E.'' and ''The X-Files'', and with Brian Herbert is the co-author of the ''Dune'' prequel series. His original works include the '' Saga of Seven Suns'' series and the Nebula Award–nominated '' Assemblers of Infinity''. He has also written several comic books, including the Dark Horse ''Star Wars'' series '' Tales of the Jedi'' written in collaboration with Tom Veitch, Dark Horse ''Predator'' titles, and ''The X-Files'' titles for Topps. Saga Of Seven Suns
''The Saga of Seven Suns'' is a series of seven space opera novels by American writer Kevin J. Anderson, published between 2002 and 2008. The books are set in a not-too-distant future where humans have colonized a number of other planets across the galaxy, thanks in part to technological assistance from an ancient alien race, the Ildirans. The series chronicles the universe-spanning war that erupts when humans inadvertently ignite the fury of a hidden empire of elemental aliens known as the hydrogues. Origins Game Fair
Origins Game Fair is an annual gaming convention that was first held in 1975. Since 1996, it has been held in Columbus, Ohio at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Origins is run by the Game Manufacturers Association (GAMA). Origins was chartered to serve gaming in general, including wargaming and miniatures gaming. Origins is the site of the annual Origins Awards ceremony. For many years, the Charles S. Roberts Awards for historical boardgames were presented at Origins, but these are now presented at the World Boardgaming Championships. Oregon, Wisconsin
Oregon is a village in Dane County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 11,179 at the 2020 census. A suburb south of Madison, it is part of the Madison metropolitan area. The village is located mostly within the Town of Oregon. History Oregon was settled in 1841 by Bartlet Runey, and the first house was constructed in 1843. Initially the settlement was known as "Rome Corners," and there is a road south of the village which still bears that name. When the Chicago and North Western Railroad came through the village in 1864, their maps indicated a name of "Oregon," and the name was adopted. The village was incorporated in 1881. The main railroad line from Chicago to Minneapolis ran through Oregon. From 1880 to 1950 the line was double tracked. Colorado Authors Hall Of Fame
The Colorado Authors Hall of Fame'' is an award for authors from Colorado who are connected to Colorado or use Colorado in their written works. It "celebrates the accomplishments of living and past authors connected to Colorado." It is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Their mission is to "honor and promote the works of outstanding published authors from all genres and generations to ensure their legacies will not be lost." M. L. Hanson and Judith Briles created the Colorado Authors Hall of Fame in 2014; the first inductees were honored in 2019. They present awards every other year, in 2019, 2021 and 2023. Krypton is a fictional planet appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, most commonly appearing or mentioned in stories starring the superhero Superman as the world from where he came. The planet was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, and was named after the chemical element krypton.
