Kevin Harris (American Football)
Kevin Harris (born November 17, 2000) is an American professional football running back. He played college football for the South Carolina Gamecocks. Early life Harris grew up in Hinesville, Georgia and attended Bradwell Institute. He was named the Georgia Region 2-6A Player of the Year after rushing for 1,680 yards and 16 touchdowns in his junior year. As a senior, Harris rushed for 1,556 yards and 22 touchdowns and was named the Region 2-6A Player of the Year for the second straight season. Harris committed to play college football at South Carolina over offers from Army, Air Force, Navy, Cornell, Furman, The Citadel, Middle Tennessee State, Tulane and Wofford. Kevin Harris (politician)
Kevin M. Harris (born October 24, 1981) is an American politician who is a member of the Maryland House of Delegates for District 27A in Charles and Prince George's County, Maryland. He was previously a candidate for District 9 of the Prince George's County Council in 2018. Background Harris graduated from St. Benedict's Preparatory School in 1999, and served in the United States Navy until 2009. He later graduated from Washington Bible College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in general studies in 2011, and Walden University with a Master of Science degree in leadership development in 2014. Since 2011, he has worked at Fort Meade. In 2018, Harris ran for the Prince George's County Council in District 9, seeking to succeed councilmember Mel Franklin, who was running for the at-large seat on the council. The Ruby Ridge standoff was the siege of a cabin occupied by the Weaver family in Boundary County, Idaho, in August 1992. On August 21, deputies of the United States Marshals Service (USMS) came to arrest Randy Weaver under a bench warrant for his failure to appear on federal firearms charges after he was given the wrong court date. The charges stemmed from Weaver's sale of a sawed-off shotgun to an undercover federal informant, who had induced him to modify the firearm below the legal barrel length. During a surveillance operation, officer Art Roderick shot Weaver's dog when it ran at them and then pointed his rifle at Weaver's 14-year-old son, Samuel, who was armed. Samuel fired back at the marshals, and was shot in the back and killed by the team. Eric David Harris (April 9, 1981 – April 20, 1999) and Dylan Bennet Klebold ( ; September 11, 1981 – April 20, 1999) were American high school seniors and mass murderers who perpetrated the Columbine High School massacre at Columbine High School on April 20, 1999, in Columbine, Colorado. Harris and Klebold killed 13 students and one teacher and wounded 23 others. After killing most of their victims in the school's library, they died by Suicide in the United States, suicide. Kevon Lavelle Harris ( ; born June 24, 1997) is an American professional basketball player for the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association (NBA), on a two-way contract with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the NBA G League.
