Kerry Peers
Kerry Peers (born 1 November 1964) is a British actress who is best known for her role in ''The Bill'' where she played Suzi Croft from 1993 to 1998. She has also been in ''Casualty'', ''Doctors'', ''Holby City'', ''Brookside'' and appeared on '' Coronation Street'' from October 2019 to January 2020. Early life Kerry Roberta Peers was born on 1 November 1964 in the small village of Northop Hall,Hayward 1996, p. 197 near Mold in North Wales, where she spent her childhood. Acting Peers moved to London, where she attended the Central School of Speech and Drama. On leaving drama school she performed in a number of plays, such as Les liaisons dangereuses (with the Royal Shakespeare Company) and was also in the original cast of Alan Ayckbourn's '' Mr A's Amazing Maze Plays'' at the Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough. Northop Hall
Northop Hall is a village and Community (Wales), community near Connah's Quay in Flintshire, Wales. Located to the east of Northop, near the A55 road, A55 North Wales Expressway, the village is largely residential in character. At the United Kingdom Census 2001, 2001 Census, the village of Northop Hall had a population of 1,665, falling to 1,530 at the 2011 census. The village has one pub, The Top Monkey (formerly known as The Boar's Head); until recently there was a second, the Black Lion, and they were universally known locally as the 'Top Monkey' and 'Bottom Monkey'. Oldham Coliseum Theatre
Oldham Coliseum Theatre is a theatre in Oldham, Greater Manchester, England. Located on Fairbottom Street in the town centre, it opened in 1887 as the Colosseum, a reconstruction of an 1885 wooden circus building, has since been rebuilt as a masonry building, and in the 20th century was a music hall and briefly a cinema before reverting to being a repertory theatre. It was closed in 2023 and was to be redeveloped, but is to reopen in 2026 after refurbishment. History The theatre was constructed in 1885 as a timber building by the joiner Thomas Whittaker as a permanent home for Myer's Grand American Hippodrome Circus, on Henshaw Street. The circus owner was unable to pay for the work, so Whittaker took over ownership, and when the Henshaw Street site was proposed for redevelopment as a market, had the building dismantled and rebuilt on its present site in Fairbottom Street. ''Brighton Beach Memoirs'' is a semi-autobiographical play by Neil Simon. The play is a coming-of-age comedy focused on the main character of Eugene Morris Jerome, a Jewish teenager from a Polish immigrant family. It is set in September 1937 in the Brighton Beach section of Brooklyn, New York during The Great Depression. According to Simon, the play tells its story "through the eyes of a 15-year-old boy who is writing his memoirs—which is what I did when I was 15". Marvin Neil Simon (July 4, 1927 – August 26, 2018) was an American playwright, screenwriter and author. He wrote more than 30 plays and nearly the same number of movie screenplays, mostly film adaptations of his plays. He received three Tony Awards and a Golden Globe Award, as well as nominations for four Academy Awards and four Primetime Emmy Awards. He was awarded a 29th Tony Awards, Special Tony Award in 1975, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1991, the Kennedy Center Honors in 1995 and the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor in 2006. Butterflies are winged insects from the lepidopteran superfamily Papilionoidea, characterized by large, often brightly coloured wings that often fold together when at rest, and a conspicuous, fluttering flight.
