Kern Raceway
Kevin Harvick's Kern Raceway (formerly Kern County Raceway Park) is a oval speedway located on CA 43 (Enos Lane) just off Interstate 5 in Bakersfield, Kern County, California, United States. Opened in 2013, it was built as a replacement for Mesa Marin Raceway. Kevin Harvick's Kern Raceway hosts events with NASCAR's NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series along with an ARCA Menards Series West race since 2013. The track has banks of 8° in the straightaways, with 14° paved corners. The track has 15,000 seats for fans, and room to expand to 17,000 seats for various events. It also contains 21 suites in the grandstand along with 18 concession stands. The property also contains a asymmetrical clay oval track, just north of the paved oval with a seating capacity of 4,000 seats. Turns 1-2 are tighter than turns 3-4. Chris Dalton
Christopher Alfred Dalton (27 November 1896 – 25 May 1975) was an Australian politician. He was born at Teeyarra to teamster George Henry Dalton and Mary Grintell. He was educated at West Maitland and became a bushworker and railway worker. From 1916 to 1918 he served in the AIF with the 13th Battalion. On 19 November 1920 he married Rita Mary Jupp, with whom he had one son. An active member of the Railway Workers and General Labourers Association, he became federal vice-president and state president of the Australian Workers' Union from 1933 to 1938. A Labor Party member, he was on the central executive from 1941 to 1943. From 1943 to 1970 he was a Labor member of the New South Wales Legislative Council. Dalton died at Sydney in 1975. Bandolero car racing is a type of entry-level racing in the United States and Canada. Many bandolero car drivers move into Legends car racing, Legends racing. Cars can reach in excess of 70 mph, but do not accelerate very quickly. The most wins in Bandolero race cars used to be held by Joey Logano but was broken in 2016 by Clay Thompson (racing driver), Clay Thompson. The cars are built like miniature stock cars, with a tube frame and sheet metal cage. Drivers enter through the roof of the vehicle. Legends car racing is a style of auto racing designed primarily to promote exciting racing and to keep costs down (as of 2022, a brand-new Legends car could be purchased in the USA for $17,500 USD). The race car bodyshells are 5/8-scale replicas of American automobiles from the 1930s and 1940s, powered by Yamaha XJ1250, FJ1200 (both air-cooled) or, starting in 2018, FZ-09 (water-cooled) engines. Late Model stock car racing, also known as late model racing and late models, refers to a type of auto racing that involves purpose-built cars simultaneously racing against each other primarily on oval tracks. This type of racing was early-on characterized by its participants' modification to the engines of post-World War II passenger cars, but the modern day understanding references a class that allows considerable modifications to both the engine and body, yet requires some form of front fender package. Overview As the post WWII auto industry began meeting demand for new cars, auto lots were filling up with the pre-war coupes and sedans. Kevin Michael Harvick (born December 8, 1975) is an American semi-retired professional stock car racing driver and commentator for '' NASCAR on Fox''.
