Background The village is claimed to be established by a certain Dusun man named who migrated with his family in the old days from the present-day Kampong Sungai Bera in Belait District. The village was formerly known by the name or ; it was eventually 'standardized' in the Malay language to the present spelling "Keriam". Geography The village neighbours Kampong Bukit Panggal to the north-east, Kampong Luagan Dudok to the east, Kampong Panchor Papan to the south-west, and Kampong Tanah Burok and Kampong Penanjong to the north-west. Kampong Luagan Dudok is a village in the north-east of Tutong District, Brunei. The population was 879 in 2016. It is one of the villages within Mukim Keriam, mukim in the district. Geography The village neighbours Kampong Bukit Panggal to the north, Kampong Sinaut to the east, and Kampong Keriam to the west. It is one of the settlements along Jalan Tutong, an important road which connects the district's town Pekan Tutong to the country's capital Bandar Seri Begawan. Access to the village is through Jalan Tutong via Kampong Sinaut from the east and Kampong Keriam from the west, as well as Jalan Bukit Panggal from the north via Kampong Bukit Panggal which gives direct access to Muara–Tutong Highway. Kampong Bukit Panggal is a village in Tutong District, Brunei, about from the district town Pekan Tutong. The population was 801 in 2016. It is one of the villages within Mukim Keriam, a mukim in the district. Facilities The village primary school is Bukit Panggal Primary School. It also shares grounds with Bukit Panggal Religious School, the village school for the country's Islamic religious primary education. The village mosque is Ar-Rahim Mosque. It was inaugurated on 17 May 2019 by Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah and can accommodate about 800 to 1000 worshippers. It replaced the former Kampong Bukit Panggal Mosque which had been closed since 2017; it had become unsafe for use due to structural issues. Kampong Penanjong is a village in Tutong District, Brunei, on the outskirts of the district town Pekan Tutong. The population was 2,065 in 2016. It is one of the villages within Mukim Pekan Tutong, a mukim in the district. Facilities Penanjong Primary School is the village primary school; it was established in 1936. There is also Penanjong Religious School which is the village school for the primary level of the country's Islamic religious education. The current village mosque is Kampong Penanjong Mosque; it was inaugurated on 6 April 1984 and can accommodate 500 worshippers.
