Kerch Raion
The Kerch Raion, also transliterated as Kerchenskyi Raion, () is a prospective raion (district) of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in Ukraine. It was created on September 7, 2023, from the territories of Yedi Quyu Raion along with the Kerch Municipality. The administrative center is the city of Kerch. Raions were created in a 1922 administrative reform of the Soviet Union, to which Ukraine, as the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, belonged. On 17 July 2020, the Verkhovna Rada (Ukraine's parliament) approved an administrative reform to merge most of the 490 raions, along with the "City of regional significance (Ukraine), cities of regional significance", which were previously outside the raions, into just 136 reformed raions. Autonomous Republic Of Ukraine

Kerch, also known as Keriç or Kerich, is a city of regional significance on the Kerch Peninsula in the east of Crimea. Lenine Raion (, ) or Yedy-Kuiu Raion (, ) was one of the twenty-five districts of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in Ukraine until its abolition in 2020.
