James MacKenzie (born 6 January 1986), better known as Kenzie or James Kenzie, is a British rapper, DJ, actor and personal trainer, who was formerly a member of ten-piece hip-hop group Blazin' Squad. He was also part of the R&B/pop supergroup 5th Story, set up for ''The Big Reunion'' in 2013. Music Blazin' Squad (2001–06) Blazin' Squad were a ten-piece hip hop group. They enjoyed moderate success in the UK, achieving six consecutive Top 10 hits, including the number one single " Tha Crossroads", which is a cover version of the Bone Thugs-N-Harmony song. They released two albums which just made the UK Top 40 album chart. While in the Blazin' Squad, he went by the name MC Kenzie. The group subsequently split in 2005. Career She attended Mount Juliet High School in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. She later attended Virginia Tech, where she pitched for the Virginia Tech Hokies softball team. ''Sputnik Caledonia'' (2008) is a novel by British writer Andrew Crumey which won the Northern Rock Foundation Writer's Award, the UK's largest literary prize at the time. It depicts a Scottish boy who longs to be a spaceman, is transported to a parallel communist Scotland where he takes part in a space mission to a black hole, and returns to the real world in middle age, possibly as a ghost. The novel is in three “Books”, with the central one (set in the alternate world) being longest, predominantly serious in tone, while the outer sections are shorter and more humorous. Martin Kenzie (29 April 1956 – 16 July 2012) was a British second unit director and cinematographer whose works include feature films such as '' The Shining'' (1980), ''Return of the Jedi'' (1983), ''Aliens'' (1986), ''The King's Speech'' (2010) and TV series including ''Rome'' (2005) and ''Game of Thrones'' (2012). Deon Kenzie (born 11 March 1996) is an Australian Para athlete who competes in the T38 (classification) prominently in the 1500m. He has won medals at the 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2024 World Para Athletics Championships including gold in the Men's 1500 m T38 in 2017.
