Kenya Pipeline F.C.
Kenya Pipeline was an association football club based in Nairobi, Kenya. In 2002 the team won the Kenyan Cup. Kenya Pipeline were promoted to the Kenyan Premier League in the 2001 season. Boniface Ambani won the golden boot while playing for Pipeline in 2005. The club played in the top flight from 2002 to 2005, when they disbanded. Kenya Pipeline were in Tunisia in May 2023 where they came second to Zamalek from Egypt in the CAVB Womens Volleyball Club Championships. Naomi Too is a Kenyan female volleyball player in the Kenya women's national volleyball team. Life Too played with the Kenya Pipeline team where she played with Gaudencia Makokha. In 2015 the two of them represented Kenya in Morocco at beach volleyball. They beat Mozambique and Nigeria to get to the final but they were beaten by Egypt and they gained the silver medal. It was the first medal for Kenya at the 2015 African Games in Rabat, Morocco. In 2017 she and her then volleyball partner, Gaudencia Makokha, won a beach volleyball match and gained $3,400 in prize money. Too was injured and she could not make the Olympic trials. 2003 African Cup Winners' Cup
The 2003 season of the African Cup Winners' Cup football club tournament was won by Étoile Sportive du Sahel in two-legged final victory against Julius Berger (now Bridge Boys F.C.). Étoile Sportive du Sahel never had the opportunity to defend their title as the African Cup Winners' Cup was merged with CAF Cup the following season into CAF Confederation Cup. Thirty-six sides entered the competition. It was the first season when the CAF started to take disciplinary actions against teams withdrawing from the competition by banning them for three years.
