Kentra is a hamlet overlooking the east coast of Kentra Bay, on the north east end of the Ardnamurchan peninsula near Acharacle, Scottish Highlands. Kentra Bay
Kentra Bay, also known as the Singing Sands, is a remote tidal, 306° orientated, coastal embayment located on the northern shore of the Ardnamurchan peninsula, at the extreme eastern side, where it meets the mainland proper, near Acharacle, in the western Highlands of Scotland. Kentra Bay contains a large expanse of mudflat at low tide and small fragments of salt marsh, sand dune, and machair. Kentra Bay is an inland bay separated from the sea via a channel at the northeast side. Settlement At the head of the channel that connects the bay to the sea on the north coast lies the small settlement of Ardtoe, which has sandy beaches with views to the island of Eigg. Ardnamurchan
Ardnamurchan (, ) is a peninsula in the ward management area of Lochaber, Highland, Scotland, noted for being very unspoiled and undisturbed. Its remoteness is accentuated by the main access route being a single track road for much of its length. The most westerly point of mainland Great Britain, Corrachadh Mòr, is in Ardnamurchan. From 1930 to 1975 Ardnamurchan also gave its name to a landward district of Argyll, which covered a much wider area, including the districts of Morvern, Sunart and Ardgour. Ardtoe () is a place on the coast of Ardnamurchan, Lochaber, in the Highland council area of Scotland. Claish Moss
Claish Moss is an upland blanket bog on the south side of Loch Shiel, in the Sunart district of the west highlands of Scotland The Moss is designated as a Ramsar site of international importance (designated in 1981), a Special Area of Conservation (designated together with Kentra Moss), and a Site of Special Scientific Interest. The remote and difficult to access 568 ha reserve, at an elevation of 11 m - 55 m (average: 22 m), is home to a nationally important population of 9 different dragonfly species. The Moss is an example of a patterned raised mire system in good condition, which are rare in western Europe. Divided by several burns, the ground is very wet and the water quality is excellent. The reserve supports 14 different species of moss, as well as scarce higher plants. Red deer are culled annually to prevent overgrazing, as they lack natural predators with the extinction of the wolf in Scotland. Scottish Highlands

A861 Road
The A861 road is a circuitous, primarily coastal, road in Lochaber, within the Highland council area of Scotland. The A861 serves the communities of the remote Ardgour, Sunart, Moidart and Ardnamurchan areas Although the ends of this road are only apart (the direct link being by way of the A830 road) its total length is .
