Kent Johanssen
Kent Johanssen (born 30 June 1970) is a retired Norwegian ski jumper. He won a silver medal in the individual normal hill at the 1991 World Championships. He made his World Cup debut in March 1989 with a 3rd place in Oslo, and finished second in his second World Cup race in Planica later in March 1989. He won the gold medal at the 1989 FIS Junior World Ski Championships in Vang, Hedmark. The 1989–1990 World Cup started tougher, with nine placements outside the top 30, including all four races in the Four Hills Tournament. In February and March 1990 he racked up five placements between 20th and 29th, as well as one eighth place in Örnsköldsvik. In the 1990–1991 World Cup he only managed to finish seven times between 20th and 30th, but at the 1991 World Championships he finished 24th in the large hill, fourth in the team event and won the silver medal in the normal hill. Bækkelagets SK
Bækkelagets Sportsklub is a Norwegian sports club from Bekkelaget in southern Oslo, founded in 1909. The club has sections for skiing (including ski jumping and biathlon), orienteering, handball, football, floorball and track and field athletics, previously also bandy. It is known for organizing one of the world's largest youth football tournaments, Norway Cup. Handball The club consists of 850 active handball players. The women's handball team won the Women's EHF Cup Winner's Cup in 1997/1998, and again in 1998/1999. The club also reached the final in EHF Women's Champions Trophy the same two seasons. In 1998 Bækkelaget had the best women's team in Europe. The club still plays in the Norwegian top league, but ambitions are far lower than in their best period. Lysgårdsbakken
Lysgårdsbakken, officially known as Lysgårdsbakkene Ski Jumping Arena ( no, Lysgårdsbakkene hoppanlegg), is a ski jumping hill in Lillehammer, Norway. It consists of a large hill, with a K-point of 123 and a hill size of 138, and a small hill with a K-point of 90 and a hill size of 100. It opened in 1993 for the 1994 Winter Olympics, where it hosted the ski jumping and Nordic combined events, as well as the opening and closing ceremonies. After the Olympics, ownership was transferred to the municipal Lillehammer Olympiapark and it has since been used for several FIS Ski Jumping World Cup and FIS Nordic Combined World Cup tournaments, including hosting the Nordic Tournament. It has a capacity for 35,000 spectators and is one of three national ski jumping hills in Norway. In 2007, the large hill was rebuilt to a larger profile, and received a new plastic lining. Meldal
Meldal is a former municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1838 until its dissolution in 2020 when it joined Orkland Municipality. It was part of the Orkdalen region. The administrative centre of the municipality was the village of Meldal. Other villages included Løkken Verk, Bjørnli, Å, and Storås. The municipality was most renowned for its mining activities at Løkken Verk, being the birthplace of the ''Orkla mining company'', now Orkla Group. It was also home to the annual Storåsfestivalen music festival. At the time of its dissolution in 2020, the municipality was the 184th largest by area out of the 422 municipalities in Norway. Örnsköldsvik (, ) is a locality and the seat of Örnsköldsvik Municipality in Västernorrland County, Sweden, with 32,953 inhabitants in 2017.
