Kenny Vadas
Ken "Kenny" Vadas (born July 25, 1981) is a Canadian actor best known for his role in ''The Santa Clause'' and several television shows. Career Vadas began his career by acting in several commercials. He was a regular on the ''Eric's World'' and had guest roles on ''Are You Afraid of the Dark?'', ''Goosebumps'', and ''The Adventures of Sinbad''. He acted in several made-for-television movies and appeared as the E.L.F.S. Leader in the Disney Christmas film ''The Santa Clause.'' Vadas also played the lead role of Harvey Cheyne in the television remake of ''Captains Courageous'' starring Robert Urich. Vadas received a Family Film Award nomination and won a Young Artist Award. Robert Urich
Robert Michael Urich (December 19, 1946 – April 16, 2002) was an American film, television, and stage actor, and television producer. Over the course of his 30-year career, he starred in a record 15 television series. Urich began his career in television in the early 1970s. After guest stints and roles in short-lived television series, he won a co-starring role in the action/crime drama series ''S.W.A.T.'' in 1975. In 1978, he landed the lead role of Dan Tanna in the crime drama series '' Vega$'', which aired on ABC from 1978 to June 1981, and earned him two Golden Globe Award nominations. In addition to his work in television, Urich also co starred in several feature films, including '' Magnum Force'' (1973), '' The Ice Pirates'' (1984), and '' Turk 182'' (1985). ''Our Hero'' is a Canadian teen comedy-drama television series. It ran for 26 episodes over two seasons on CBC and WTN from October 5, 2000, until January 20, 2002, and was syndicated in the United States on WAM! and in the United Kingdom on Channel 5. Premise The series resolves around 17-year old Canadian Kale Stiglic (Cara Pifko) who creates a zine about her life in suburban Toronto with her friends Ross Korolus ( Justin Peroff), Mary-Elizabeth Penrose (Jeanie Calleja), and Dalal Vidya ( Vik Sahay). Each episode was named after an "issue" of her zine. Michael Moriarty (born April 5, 1941) is an American-Canadian actor and jazz musician. He received an Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award for his first acting role on American television as a Nazi SS officer in the 1978 mini-series ''Holocaust'' as well as a Tony Award in 1974 for his performance in the play ''Find Your Way Home''. ''Captains Courageous: A Story of the Grand Banks'' is an 1897 novel by Rudyard Kipling that follows the adventures of fifteen-year-old Harvey Cheyne Jr., the spoiled son of a railroad tycoon, after he is saved from drowning by a Portuguese fisherman in the north Atlantic. The novel originally appeared as a serialisation in ''McClure's'', beginning with the November 1896 edition with the last instalment appearing in May 1897. In that year it was then published in its entirety as a novel, first in the United States by Doubleday, and a month later in the United Kingdom by Macmillan. It is Kipling's only novel set entirely in North America.
