Kenneth Bi
Kenneth Bi (born March 4, 1967) is a Hong Kong-born Canadian filmmaker. He has written, directed, and acted in Canada and Hong Kong in numerous theatre and film productions. Biography Kenneth Bi is the son of two movie stars from the Shaw Brothers Studio, Ivy Ling Po and Chin Han (Hong Kong actor), Chin Han. They have both starred in numerous films and also had a cameo on Kenneth Bi's first film ''Rice Rhapsody''. Kenneth Bi graduated with Honours in Theatre/Film from Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario, St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. Career In 1992, he won a Special Merit Award in Toronto for his CBC-Radio Drama, ''Rice Krinkles''. The Newport Beach Film Festival (NBFF) is an annual film festival in Newport Beach, California, typically held in late April. Tokyo International Film Festival
The is a film festival established in 1985. The event was held biennially from 1985 to 1991 and annually thereafter. According to the FIAPF, it is one of Asia's competitive film festivals and the second largest film festival in Asia behind the Shanghai International Film Festival, as well as the only Japanese festival accredited by the FIAPF. The awards handed out during the festival have changed throughout its existence, but the Tokyo Grand Prix, handed to the best film, has stayed as the top award. Pusan International Film Festival
The Busan International Film Festival (BIFF; ), formerly the Pusan International Film Festival (PIFF), held annually in Haeundae District, Busan, South Korea, is one of the most significant film festivals in Asia. The first festival, held from 13 to 21 September 1996, was also the first international film festival in Korea. The main focus of the BIFF is to introduce new films and first-time directors, especially those from Asian countries. Martin Yan (; born 22 December 1948) is a Chinese-American chef and food writer. He has hosted his award-winning PBS-TV cooking show '' Yan Can Cook'' since 1982. Early years and education With ancestral roots in Hoiping, Yan was born in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China to a restaurateur father and a grocer mother. Yan began to cook at the age of 12.
