Kennedy Winston
Kennedy Lawrence Winston (born July 29, 1984) is an American professional basketball player who last played for Club Atlético Peñarol of the Liga Nacional de Básquet. He is a former college basketball player with the University of Alabama. Kennedy left college one year early to pursue his dreams of playing in the NBA. He was not drafted by an NBA team in 2005, so he took his game overseas. College career Winston was a basketball star at Mattie T. Blount High School in Prichard, Alabama, where he won the Alabama Mr. Basketball award and was Gatorade's state Player Of The Year his senior year in 2002. He originally signed a letter of intent to play at the University of California, but decided he needed to be closer to his ill mother. Panathinaikos B.C. ( el, ΚΑΕ Παναθηναϊκός), also known simply as Panathinaikos, is the professional basketball team of the major Athens-based multi-sport club Panathinaikos A.O. Club Malvín is a sports club from Montevideo, Uruguay, established on January 28, 1938, in the residential neighbourhood of Malvín. Basketball
Basketball is a team sport in which two teams, most commonly of five players each, opposing one another on a rectangular court, compete with the primary objective of shooting a basketball (approximately in diameter) through the defender's hoop (a basket in diameter mounted high to a backboard at each end of the court, while preventing the opposing team from shooting through their own hoop. Parade All-America Boys Basketball Team
The ''Parade'' All-America Boys Basketball Team was an annual selection by ''Parade'' that nationally honored the top high school boys' basketball players in the United States. It was part of the ''Parade'' All-American series that originated with boys basketball before branching to other sports. Started by the Sunday magazine in 1957, it had been the longest ongoing selection of high school basketball All-Americans in the country at the time of its final selections in 2015. Many of the honorees went on to star as college and professional basketball players. The HEBA Greek All-Star Game, also known as the EKO Greek All-Star Game for sponsorship reasons, is the All-Star Game of the HEBA (Greek: ΕΣΑΚΕ) Greek professional basketball association for men. It was founded and organized by Gus Sarianides. The men's all-star game has most often been played in a format featuring the Greek All-Stars, versus the Rest of the World All-Stars. There is also a men's slam dunk competition, and a men's 3-point shootout competition. FIBA EuroCup All-Star Day, or FIBA EuroChallenge All-Star Day, was the All-Star Game of the now defunct 3rd-tier level European-wide professional basketball league, the FIBA EuroChallenge tournament. It started in 2004 and lasted for 5 editions until 2008. The FIBA EuroCup All-Star Day was the first All-Star Game organised by FIBA since the FIBA EuroStars and after the 2000 conflict with ULEB which resulted in Euroleague's take over of the latter. The event included a match between Europe and Rest of the World All-Stars, a 3-point shootout contest and a slam-dunk contest (only in the 2007 edition). The Greek Basketball Cup or Hellenic Basketball Cup (Greek: Κύπελλο Ελλάδος καλαθοσφαίρισης ανδρών) is the top-tier level annual pro basketball national cup competition in Greece. It is organized by the Hellenic Basketball Federation (E.O.K.). History and format There were no official nation-wide Greek Cup competitions prior to the 1975–76 season. However, there was a precursor tournament to the Greek Cup, called the Attica State Cup, which was won by AEK, in the 1966–67 and 1970–71 seasons.
