Kenedy Corona
Kenedy Junior Corona (born March 21, 2000) is a Venezuelan professional baseball outfielder for the Houston Astros of Major League Baseball (MLB). Career New York Mets Corona signed with the New York Mets as an international free agent on April 6, 2019. He split his first professional season between the Dominican Summer League Mets, rookie-level Gulf Coast League Mets, and Low-A Brooklyn Cyclones. In 63 appearances split between the three affiliates, Corona batted .301/.398/.470 with five home runs, 29 RBI, and 19 stolen bases. Houston Astros On December 6, 2019, the Mets traded Corona and Blake Taylor to the Houston Astros in exchange for Jake Marisnick. He did not play in a game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Corona played in the Arizona Fall League after the 2023 season. An outfielder is a person playing in one of the three defensive positions in baseball or softball, farthest from the batter. These defenders are the left fielder, the center fielder, and the right fielder. The Sugar Land Space Cowboys are a Minor League Baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL) and the Triple-A affiliate of the Houston Astros Major League Baseball club.
