Ken Finkleman
Ken Finkleman (born 1946) is a Canadian television and film writer, producer, director, actor, and novelist. Biography Finkleman was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. In Canada, Finkleman is best known as the writer, creator and producer of the CBC Television series '' The Newsroom'', in which he starred as television news producer George Findlay. He later produced a number of other series for Canadian television as well, including '' Married Life'', '' Foolish Heart'', '' Foreign Objects'', ''More Tears'', ''Good Dog'', and '' Good God''. ''Good God'' is a Canadian television comedy-drama series which premiered in April 2012 on HBO Canada. The show follows the life of character George Findlay, a role that Ken Finkleman reprised from '' The Newsroom'' and subsequent television projects. The series was originally slated to be the second season of Finkleman's previous HBO Canada project '' Good Dog'', but was retitled in accordance with a change in the show's setting. Finkleman's 45s
Finkleman's 45s was a Canadian radio show, which aired Saturday evenings from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. (half an hour later in Newfoundland) on CBC Radio One starting on October 5, 1985 and running until June 25, 2005. In the show Danny Finkleman played popular songs from the 1950s, 1960s and early 1970s, and talked about anything he felt like. For example, a regular component of the show was his advocation of a new business idea of his that he had observed a need for. Finkleman provided over 1,000 of his own unique business product and service ideas that he would rationalise and encourage listeners to adopt and develop as their own. Danny Finkleman (born 1942) is a Canadian journalist and radio host, best known for his work on CBC Radio. He was host of ''Finkleman's 45s'' from 1985 until 2005, when he retired from CBC. He also co-hosted a weekday national CBC radio program called Dayshift for one season, in 1986-87. From October 12, 2013, to July 1, 2014 he hosted a weekly podcast.
