Ken Austin (basketball)
Kenneth Eugene Austin (born December 15, 1961) is a retired American basketball player. Born in Los Angeles, California, he played collegiately for Rice University. He was selected by the Detroit Pistons in the fourth round (101st pick overall) of the 1983 NBA draft. The power forward (PF), also known as the four, is one of the five traditional Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. Traditionally, power forwards have played a role similar to center (basketball), centers and are typically the tallest or second tallest player on the court. ASVEL Basket, currently known as LDLC ASVEL for sponsorship reasons, is a French professional basketball team located in the commune of Villeurbanne, a suburb of Lyon, France.
