Kelly Zeeman
Kelly Zeeman (born 19 November 1993) is a Dutch professional footballer. She played as a defensive midfielder or centre-back for Eredivisie club Ajax and the Netherlands national team. Club career Zeeman played for Telstar in the BeNe League in the 2012–13 season. In June 2013, she moved to Ajax along with Claudia van den Heiligenberg. In January 2021, Zeeman joined SC Heerenveen on a loan deal until 30 June 2021. This made her the first Dutch player to be loaned out in Eredivisie. International career Zeeman earned her first cap for the national team on 9 February 2013, in a 3–2 friendly win against Belgium. In June 2017, she was called up by head coach Sarina Wiegman to be part of the Netherlands squad for the UEFA Women's Euro 2017 on home soil. 2018 Algarve Cup
The 2018 Algarve Cup was the 25th edition of the Algarve Cup, an invitational women's football tournament held annually in Portugal. It took place from 28 February to 7 March 2018. The final was cancelled after torrential rain flooded the pitch: the Netherlands and Sweden were declared joint winners of the Algarve Cup. Format The twelve invited teams were split into three groups to play a round-robin tournament. Points awarded in the group stage followed the standard formula of three points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a loss. The Algarve Cup is an invitational tournament for national teams in women's association football hosted by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF). Held annually in the Algarve region of Portugal since 1994, it is one of the most prestigious and longest-running women's international football events and has been nicknamed the ''"Mini FIFA Women's World Cup"''. The 2017–18 Eredivisie Vrouwen was the eight season of the Netherlands women's professional football league. The season took place from 1 September 2017 to 25 May 2018 with nine teams. Edith Ingeborg Schippers (born 25 August 1964) is a retired Dutch politician of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) and businesswoman serving as President of the DSM Company since 1 February 2019.
