Kelex
Kelex is a fictional robot appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, commonly in association with the superhero Superman. Publication history Kelex first appeared in '' The Man of Steel'' #1 and was created by John Byrne. Fictional character biography Kelex was previously one of Jor-El's robotic servants on the planet Krypton, alongside Kelor. Presumed destroyed along with Jor-El and the rest of Krypton, Kelex later appears alive and becomes the Fortress of Solitude's caretaker. Later, when Superman obtains the Eradicator device, it tries to recreate Krypton on Earth, creating a clone of Kelex in the process. Kelex is used as a framing device for a tour of a redesigned Fortress of Solitude. At one point, Lex Luthor destroys Kelex before Superman rebuilds him to battle Brainiac 13, who is vulnerable to Kryptonian technology. Kelex operates in disguise as the hero 'Steel' for a while. Fortress Of Solitude
The Fortress of Solitude is a fictional fortress appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, commonly in association with Superman. It is the place where Superman first learned about his true identity, heritage, and purpose on Earth. The fortress functions as a place of solace/occasional headquarters for Superman and is typically depicted as being in frozen tundra, away from civilization. Its predecessor, Superman's "Secret Citadel", first appeared in ''Superman (comic book), Superman'' #17, where it was said to be built into a mountain on the outskirts of Metropolis (comics), Metropolis. By issue #58 (May–June 1949) it is referred to as the Fortress of Solitude, seems at a glance to be a freestanding castle, and is said to be located in a "polar waste". Brainiac 13
Brainiac is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character was created by writer Otto Binder and artist Al Plastino, and debuted in ''Action Comics'' #242 (July 10, 1958). He has since endured as one of Superman's greatest List of Superman enemies, enemies. The character's name is a portmanteau of the words ''brain'' and ''maniac''. In his comic book appearances, Brainiac is commonly depicted as a Superintelligence, superintelligent Android (robot), android or cyborg from the planet Coluan, Colu who is obsessed with collecting all knowledge in the known universe.
