Keith Number
In recreational mathematics, a Keith number or repfigit number (short for repetitive Fibonacci-like digit) is a natural number n in a given number base b with k digits such that when a sequence is created such that the first k terms are the k digits of n and each subsequent term is the sum of the previous k terms, n is part of the sequence. Keith numbers were introduced by Mike Keith in 1987. They are computationally very challenging to find, with only about 125 known. Definition Let n be a natural number, let k = \lfloor \log_ \rfloor + 1 be the number of digits of n in base b, and let :d_i = \frac be the value of each digit of n. We define the sequence S(i) by a linear recurrence relation. For 0 \leq i bool: """Determine if a number in a particular base is a Keith number.""" if x 0: return True sequence = [] y = x while y > 0: sequence.append(y % b) y = y // b digit_count = len(sequence) sequence.reverse() whi ...

Keith Inch
Keith Inch (originally ''Keith Insche'', ''Keithinche'' or ''Caikinche'') is the easternmost point of mainland Scotland, having formerly been an island. It is located in Peterhead in Aberdeenshire, forming the north point of Peterhead Bay. It is now joined to Greenhill, another former island, previously separated from Keith Inch by the Poolmouth. Greenhill Road leads the motorist onto Greenhill from the town via Alexandra Parade. It forms part of Peterhead Harbour. ''Inch'' is a common Scottish word for an island, such as Inchcolm, Inchkenneth and (Hebrides), and derives from the Scottish Gaelic . It was used in the whaling industry, and boil yards were here; the remains of a whale bone arch can be seen. Castle of Keith Inch On the island of Keith Inch once stood a castle built by George Keith, 5th Earl Marischal, in the late 16th century. The castle is thought to have been modelled on the castle of Kronborg in Denmark. In 1644 about 500 of Oliver Cromwell Oliv ...

Hurricane Keith
Hurricane Keith was a powerful tropical cyclone that formed in September 2000, it caused extensive damage in Central America, especially in Mexico and Belize. It was the fifteenth tropical cyclone, eleventh named storm, and seventh hurricane of the 2000 Atlantic hurricane season. Keith developed as a tropical depression from a tropical wave in the western Caribbean Sea on September 28. The depression gradually strengthened, and became Tropical Storm Keith on the following day. As the storm tracked westward, it continued to intensify and was upgraded to a hurricane on September 30. Shortly thereafter, Keith began to rapidly deepen, and peaked as a Category 4 hurricane less than 24 hours later. Keith then began to meander erratically offshore of Belize, which significantly weakened the storm due to land interaction. By late on October 2, Keith made landfall in Ambergris Caye and Caye Caulker, Belize as a minimal hurricane. It quickly weakened to a tropica ...
