Keith Miller (EastEnders)
Keith Miller is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'', played by David Spinx. He made his first appearance on 6 September 2004. Throughout his tenure, he was shown to be a lazy, unmotivated and jobless character who sits around watching television all day. Keith was branded lazy by many critics, but despite his characterisation, Spinx's acting was well received and the character was liked. Casting and development In July 2004, ''The Sun'' reported that a controversial family of lowlifes would be joining ''EastEnders'' in an attempt to boost ratings. It was said that they would make the Slater family "look like royalty". Their casting was confirmed a month later when executive producer, Louise Berridge, commented: "I'm delighted to introduce the Miller family, who will be joining Mickey on Albert Square in September, but I warn you - this lot are trouble". David Spinx
David Spinx (born 25 April 1951) is an English actor, probably best known for playing Keith Miller in the BBC television soap opera ''EastEnders'' from 2004 to 2008. He had previously appeared in ''EastEnders'' as a guest character in an episode in 1999 as the cellmate of Steve Owen and provided the voices on the radios in Barry Evans' cab firm. He made guest appearances in many other television series such as ''A Touch of Frost'', ''The Bill'' and '' Hustle''. David made his last appearance on ''EastEnders'' on 1 July 2008; his character was axed having 'run out of steam'. Shana Swash
Shana Frances Swash (born 16 July 1990) is a British actress from London, and the sister of actor and television presenter Joe Swash. She is best known for playing Demi Miller in the long-running BBC One soap opera ''EastEnders'' from 2004 to 2006. Acting In February 2006, it was announced that the role of Demi was to be cut, along with that of her on-screen mother Rosie. Despite an online petition from fans pleading for them not to be axed, both characters left the show in July of that year. Stacey Slater (also Branning and Fowler) is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'', played by Lacey Turner. She first appears in episode 2826, originally broadcast on 1 November 2004. The character is introduced as a feisty and troublesome teenager and extension to the already established Slater family. She was created by scriptwriter Tony Jordan with Turner in mind. Joe Absolom (born 16 December 1978) is an English actor known for his roles as Matthew Rose in the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'' and Al Large in the ITV comedy drama ''Doc Martin''.
