Keith Ellis (musician)
Keith Ian Ellis (19 March 1946 – 12 December 1978) was an English bass player. He was born in Matlock, Derbyshire. He is known for his associations with The Koobas, The Misunderstood and Juicy Lucy. He was also a member of Van der Graaf Generator from 1968 to 1969. Ellis worked with Mike Patto and Ollie Halsall's band Boxer from 1975 until late 1976 when the original line-up split.Christopulos and Smart, ''Van der Graaf Generator'', p. 47. Ellis died in Darmstadt, Germany in 1978, whilst on tour with Iron Butterfly. No cause of death was determined, although the music journalist Ralph Heibutzki reported in a 2011 edition of '' Ugly Things'' that he was the victim of an accidental drug overdose. Keith Ellis (rugby Union)
Keith James Ellis (30 March 1927 – 17 April 1989) was an Australian rugby union international. Raised in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, Ellis was a prop and got his nickname "Bluey" on account of his red hair. After starting out in Sydney club rugby in the lower grades at Drummoyne, he moved in 1951 to Manly, where he featured in a then club record 185 first-grade games. Ellis was capped five times for the Wallabies, playing all three Tests on the 1958 tour of New Zealand and both Tests against the visiting British Lions the following year. Keith Ellis (footballer)
Keith Duncan Ellis (born 6 November 1935) is an English former professional footballer. During his career, he made over 100 appearances in the Football League most notably for Sheffield Wednesday. Career Ellis began his career with Sheffield Wednesday, making his professional debut in March 1955 against Preston North End. However, due to the form of Roy Shiner, he found first-team chances limited in his first few season before becoming a regular following the appointment of Harry Catterick as manager. His most prolific season at the club came in 1960–61, scoring 19 times including a hattrick during a 7–2 victory over Manchester United on 1 February 1961. He fell out favour at the club during the 1963–64 season and was sold to Scunthorpe United in March 1964, but left the club six months later to join Cardiff City in exchange for Dick Scott.
