Keith Lamont Davis (born December 30, 1978) is a former American football safety in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys. He played college football at Sam Houston State University. Early years Davis attended Italy High School. In football, he was a four-year starter. He had 33 touchdown receptions and 5 blocked punts in his last 2 seasons. He was a two-time All-District and All-State wide receiver and defensive back at UIL Class AA. He was a starter on the varsity basketball team that won the 1997 Class AA State Championship. He also lettered in baseball. College career Davis accepted a football scholarship from Sam Houston State University. As a redshirt freshman, he started 5 games at safety and made 40 tackles. Keith Davis (21 May 1930 – 2 March 2019) was a New Zealand rugby union player who played for both New Zealand national rugby union team, New Zealand and Māori All Blacks, New Zealand Māori. He played for Auckland rugby union team, Auckland, and won the Ranfurly Shield in his first ever provincial game. After gaining All Blacks selection in 1952, Davis toured with the team to Europe and North America in 1953–54. He played extensively for New Zealand Māori between 1952 and his retirement in 1959; his time with the team included matches against both South Africa national rugby union team, South Africa and the British & Irish Lions, British Lions. Keith Davies is a Welsh Labour politician and was the National Assembly for Wales member for Llanelli from 2011 until 2016. He beat Helen Mary Jones who was the deputy leader of Plaid Cymru, and incumbent AM for Llanelli, in May 2011. He is a member of the Enterprise and Business Committee, and Environment and Sustainability Committee. His membership of crossparty groups includes: The Armed Forces and Cadets, Human Trafficking, Kidney, Older people, and Muscular Dystrophy. He is the founding chair of the Cross Party Group on the Welsh Language. Davies was a teacher and a Director of Education at Carmarthenshire County Council, but lost his job in 2000 when departments were merged.
