Kazuki Tomono
is a Japanese figure skater. He is the 2022 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships, 2022 Four Continents silver medalist and a four-time ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, Grand Prix medalist. He has represented Japan at three World Figure Skating Championships, World Championships, achieving his best placement, fifth, at the 2018 World Figure Skating Championships, 2018 World Championships. He is also the 2016–17 Japan Figure Skating Championships#Japan Junior Figure Skating Championships, 2016–17 Japan Junior national champion. Personal life Tomono was born May 15, 1998, in Osaka. His figure skating idols are Tatsuki Machida and Daisuke Takahashi. In March 2021, Tomono graduated from Doshisha University's Sports Science department. 2016–17 ISU Junior Grand Prix
The 2016–17 ISU Junior Grand Prix was the 20th season of a series of junior international competitions organized by the International Skating Union that were held from August 2016 through December 2016. It was the junior-level complement to the 2016–17 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Medals were awarded in men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance. Skaters earned points based on their placement at each event and the top six in each discipline qualified to compete at the 2016–17 Junior Grand Prix Final in Marseille, France. 2016 World Junior Figure Skating Championships
The 2016 World Junior Figure Skating Championships were held from 14–20 March 2016 in Debrecen, Hungary. Commonly called "World Juniors" and "Junior Worlds", the event determined the World Junior champions in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. Anna Dušková / Martin Bidař and Daniel Samohin became the first World Junior champions in figure skating from the Czech Republic and Israel, respectively.
