Kazim Jalali
Kazem Jalali (; born 25 July 1967) is an Iranian Iranian Principlists, conservative politician and former member of the Majlis of Iran, Majlis from Tehran, Rey, Shemiranat and Eslamshahr (electoral district), Tehran, Rey, Shemiranat and Eslamshahr district. In June 2009, he was the spokesman for the foreign relations committee of the Majlis. Kazem Jalali holds a PhD of political science from Imam Sadiq University, Tehran. Jalali was a senior member of Moderation and Development Party, but he resigned in 2007. He is president of Followers of Wilayat fraction and is close to Ali Larijani. Shahrood
Shahrud ( , also written as: shahrood , shahroud) is a city in the Central District (Shahrud County), Central District of Shahrud County, Semnan province, Semnan province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district. History Archeological excavations in different parts of Shahrud Plain indicate the existence of villages in this area during 7-5 millennium BC. The town was visited by Naser Khosrow, Nasser Khosrow Qubadiani, the Iranian poet of the 12th century, and mentioned by him as the center of the Qomis province. Shahrud is absent from earlier historical sources and become an important town since the 19th century because of its location on the road from Tehran east to Greater Khorasan, Khorasan. Ali Larijani
Ali Ardashir Larijani (born 3 June 1958) is an Iranian politician and former military officer in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, who served as the Speaker of the Parliament of Iran from 2008 to 2020. He has been a member of the Expediency Discernment Council since 2020, having previously served from 1997 to 2008. Larijani filed for candidacy in the 2024 presidential election, but was ultimately disqualified. He previously ran in 2005, but finished in 6th place, and was also disqualified from running in 2021. Larijani was the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council from 15 August 2005 to 20 October 2007, appointed to the position by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, replacing Hassan Rouhani. The Imam Sadiq University () is an Islamic private university in Tehran, Iran. Established in 1982, the goal of the university is to combine Islamic research and modern studies, especially humanities. The Wilayi Independents () is a parliamentary group in the 10th legislature of the Islamic Republic of Iran, unofficially led by Ali Larijani. The faction was chaired by Kazem Jalali, who was succeeded by Gholam Ali Jafarzadeh. Though a minority with an estimated 80 members, the group is believed to have an advantage in the parliament by shaping a minority influence situation. The Principlists fraction () was the majority parliamentary group that controlled the 8th legislature of the Islamic Republic of Iran. It was estimated to have at least 190 members. Pervasive Coalition of Reformists: The Second Step (), named The List of Hope () by Mohammad Khatami, was the sole coalition and electoral list affiliated with the Iranian reform movement for the 2016 legislative election. The group also endorsed candidates for the 2016 Assembly of Experts election.
