Kayode Williams
Solomon Olumuyiwa Kayode Williams commonly known as Kayode Williams is a Nigerian minister, prison reform activist and ex-convict. He was among the gang of Dr. Ishola which included Mighty Joe. Life Willams was among the gang of Ishola Oyenusi aka Dr. Ishola. He was arrested alongside Ishola in 1971. He converted to Christianity while serving a 10-year jail term. Mighty Joe
Isiaka Busari known predominantly as Mighty Joe was a Nigerian bandit. He was the sidekick to Ishola Oyenusi. After the death of Oyenusi, Mighty Joe took charge of the gang, terrorising the mostly the south western part of Nigeria. He was executed by firing squad in 1973. Early life Mighty Joe was born in 1936 in Lagos, Lagos State into a family of seven. Due to financial constraints, Mighty Joe became a dropout from primary school. He later joined a street boxing group against the will of his parents. Due to lack of employment, Mighty Joe joined a street gang and became a political thug. He joined Dr. Ishola in armed robbery operations. After the death of Dr. Ishola, he took charge of the gang; recruiting ex-military to aid him carry out his operations. Prison reform is the attempt to improve conditions inside prisons, improve the effectiveness of a penal system, or implement alternatives to incarceration. It also focuses on ensuring the reinstatement of those whose lives are impacted by crimes. In modern times the idea of making living spaces safe and clean has spread from the civilian population to include prisons, on ethical grounds which honor that unsafe and unsanitary prisons violate constitutional ( law) prohibitions against cruel and unusual punishment. In recent times prison reform ideas include greater access to legal counsel and family, conjugal visits, proactive security against violence, and implementing house arrest with assistive technology.
