Kawempe Muslim LFC
The Kawempe Muslim Ladies Football Club is a Ugandan women's football club competing in the FUFA Women Super League. The club is based in the capital city of Kampala. History Between 2015 and 2018, Kawempe Muslim won four consecutive championships. However, the core of the team moved to the UCU Lady Cardinals, ending their streak of titles. In 2024, Kawempe Muslim reclaimed the national title by finishing ahead of their local rivals, the Kampala Queens and qualified to the 2024 CAF Women's Champions League. FUFA Women Super League
The FUFA Women Super League is among the top-flight women's domestic football league in Uganda which is sanctioned by the Federation of Uganda Football Associations. In 2019, the Women Super League was introduced to the Ugandan women's football system with the FUFA Women Elite League re-organized as the second division under the Women Super League. The inaugural season of the Women Super League which started with 8 teams, abruptly ended in May 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 2024 CAF Women's Champions League
The 2024 CAF Women's Champions League was the fourth edition of the annual African premier women's association football club tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football.
