Katelyn Duong
Katelyn Duong (born March 27, 2001), commonly known as Katie Duong, is an American soccer player who plays as a midfielder for DC Power FC of the USL Super League. She played college soccer for the Minnesota Golden Gophers from 2019 to 2020 and the Stanford Cardinal from 2021 to 2023. She has played for the United States national under-20 team. She was drafted by the Portland Thorns of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) in 2024. Early life Duong was born in Portland, Oregon, to a Vietnamese father named Hieu Duong and an American mother named Kari. She has a younger sister named Emily. She played high school soccer at Jesuit High school and graduated in 2019. She led Jesuit to state titles in 2015 and 2018, and was named to the All-American team as well as the Oregon Sports Award Prep Soccer Player of the Year award in 2018. Crossfire Premier Soccer Club
Crossfire Premier Soccer Club (formerly Crossfire Sounders) is a non-profit, youth soccer organization based in Redmond, WA affiliated with the Lake Washington Youth Soccer Association. Originally founded in 2000, the club has since become nationally recognized with boys and girls teams competing in the Elite Clubs National League, winning several national titles. The club is also affiliated with Crossfire Redmond, a semi-professional team that plays in the National Premier Soccer League. The current Coaching Director is Bernie James who has served as director for over 20 years. 2020 CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship
The 2020 CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship was the 10th edition of the CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship, the biennial international youth football championship organized by CONCACAF for the women's under-20 national teams of the North, Central American and Caribbean region. The tournament was held in the Dominican Republic between 22 February and 8 March 2020. The final tournament is expanded from eight to 20 teams, using the same format as the 2019 CONCACAF U-17 Championship. The top two teams of the tournament would have qualified for the 2021 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup (originally 2020 but postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic) in Costa Rica as the CONCACAF representatives, along with Costa Rica who would have automatically qualified as hosts. KMSP-TV (channel 9) is a television station licensed to Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States, broadcasting the Fox network to the Twin Cities area. The USL W League (USLW) is a pre-professional women's soccer league in the United States which began play in May 2022. It was announced on June 8, 2021 by the United Soccer League with eight founding clubs. It follows the USL W-League, a similar league that existed from 1995 to 2015.
