Kate Omenugha
Kate Azuka Omenugha (born 30 January 1965) is a Nigerian professor, educator and politician who has been the acting-vice chancellor of the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Anambra State. She was the Commissioner of Basic Education, Anambra State, Nigeria from 2014 to March 2022. Early life and education Kate Azuka Omenugha (nee Nwagwu) is from Ubaha Nnobi, a town in Idemmili South Local Government Area, Anambra State, Nigeria. Her father ,Chief E. B. Nwagwu was a teacher and she grew up moving from one school to another as the father was transferred thus she had her primary school education in St. Mary’s Primary School, Neni (1971-1972, Girls Practising School, Adazi Nnukwu (1972-1974) and Community Primary school, Adazi Ani (1975). Anambra () is a States of Nigeria, state in Nigeria. It is located in the South East (Nigeria), South-eastern region of the country. The state was created on 27 August 1991. Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (UNIZIK) is a federal university in Nigeria. It consists of two campuses in Anambra State. Its main campus is in Awka (the capital of Anambra State), while its other campus is in Nnewi. There are also other campuses of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. These include Agulu in Anaocha local government area and Ifite-Ogwuari in Ayamelum local government area in Anambra State.
