Kastro-Kyllini
Kastro-Kyllini () is a former Communities and Municipalities of Greece, municipality in Elis (regional unit), Elis, West Greece, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Andravida-Kyllini, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 49.322 km2. The population was 3,272 in 2021. The municipality Kastro-Kyllini was created in 1999 as part of the Kapodistrias reform from the formerly independent communities Kyllini, Elis, Kyllini, #Kato Panagia, Kato Panagia, #Kastro, Kastro and #Neochori, Neochori, that became municipal districts. After the 2011 Kallikratis reform, these municipal districts became (dependent) communities. Its seat of administration was the small port town of Kyllini. Kastro, Thasos
Kastro () is a small village in the interior of the Greek island of Thassos. It is believed to be the oldest village on the island. The village name comes from the old castle that existed here to protect the inhabitants (''Kastro'' means "castle"). The village is located in the centre of the island, at a height of 450–500 m above sea level. It can be reached from Limenaria on an asphalt road or from Theologos on a dirt road. Kastro, Grevena
Kastro () is a village of the Grevena municipality. Before the 1997 local government reform it was a part of the community of Elatos. The 2021 census recorded 11 residents in the village. Kastro was populated by Greek speaking Muslim Vallahades. The 1920 Greek census recorded 246 people in the village, and 246 inhabitants (15 families) were Muslim in 1923. Following the Greek–Turkish population exchange, Greek refugee families in Kastro were from Pontus (20) in 1926. The 1928 Greek census recorded 72 village inhabitants. In 1928, the refugee families numbered 21 (69 people). Kavousi Kastro
Kavousi Kastro (also Kastro; ) is an archaeological site in eastern Crete, Greece, about 1.4 km southeast of the modern village of Kavousi, a historic village in the municipality of Ierapetra in the prefecture of Lasithi. Situated on a steep and rocky peak at an elevation of 713 m above sea level in the northern foothills of the Thripti Mountains, the site overlooks the Gulf of Mirabello and the northern Isthmus of Ierapetra. “Kastro” (“Citadel“ or “Castle”) is a local toponym; the ancient name of the site is unknown. Kastros
Kastros is an early Neolithic settlement in Cyprus. Location It lies at the north-easternmost tip of the Karpasia Peninsula ( Cape Apostolos Andreas), about 4 km north of Apostolos Andreas Monastery. The settlement is situated on a little plateau at the steep flank of the limestone promontory, about halfway between the main plateau of the peninsula and the sea in a very inaccessible situation. Kastro (rapper)
Katari Terrance Cox (born December 30, 1976) better known by his stage name Kastro, is an American rapper. A cousin of Tupac Shakur, Kastro would perform alongside him in the former's rap group, the Outlawz, and is featured on many of the late rapper's songs such as " Made Niggaz", and "Hail Mary". When he was in elementary school, he introduced his friend, and future Outlawz rapper, Malcolm Greenridge, later named E.D.I. Mean, to Tupac. Career Kastro began rapping under the name K-Dog, in a rap group with Big Malcolm ( E.D.I. Mean), and Young Hollywood ( Yaki Kadafi). Klevis Bega (born 21 May 1984), known professionally as Kastro Zizo, is an Albanian singer-songwriter and actor. Bega made his film debut as protagonist Branko in Pharmakon, the Albanian entry for the Best Foreign Language Oscar at the 85th Academy Awards, which did not make the final shortlist.
