KAST (AM)
KAST (1370 AM) is an American radio station licensed to serve the community of Astoria, Oregon. The station is owned by OMG FCC Licenses, LLC. The programming of the station is news–talk, with local programming during drive time hours and at noon, and syndicated programs including Laura Ingraham and Lars Larson the remainder of the day. History KAST was originally on 1370 kHz then moved to 1200 kHz in 1939. In 1941 it moved to 1230 kHz as a result of the NARBA agreement. It moved back to 1370 kHz in 1950. Robert D. Holmes served as a station manager at KAST in the 1930s, prior to serving as Governor of Oregon. KLMY (99.7 FM) is a radio station licensed to Long Beach, Washington, United States. The station is owned by Ohana Media Group and features programming from Westwood One. Astoria Regional Airport
Astoria Regional Airport is a joint civil-military public airport in Warrenton, three miles southwest of Astoria, in Clatsop County, Oregon. The airport is owned by the Port of Astoria and is the home of Coast Guard Air Station Astoria. The airport has no airline flights. Flights to Portland International Airport were most recently provided by SeaPort Airlines from March 2008 until Spring of 2010. Until 1974-75 Astoria had flights on West Coast Airlines and its successors. Federal Aviation Administration records say the airport had 1,851 passenger boardings (enplanements) in calendar year 2008, 1,531 in 2009 and 3,482 in 2010. José Antonio Kast Rist (born 18 January 1966), also known by his initials JAK, is a Chilean lawyer and politician. He is running for president in the 2025 Chilean general election, for the third time. Miguel Kast
Michael Kast Rist (18 December 1948 – 18 September 1983), commonly known as Miguel Kast, was a German economist of the Chicago Boys group. He served as Minister of State and President of the Central Bank under the dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet. In his youth, he was a member of the Christian Democratic Party. Early life Kast was born to Michael Kast, a German lieutenant and Nazi who fled to Chile from Germany in 1950 after escaping American custody, and Olga Rist, whom his father had met in Bavaria while on the run. Rabb () is an Arabic word to refer to God as Lord The term is used by Arabs and Sikh Punjabis. This is related to the word “Rabbi” used by the Jews practicing Hebrew Judaism.
