Karuthamuthu
''Karuthamuthu'' () is a 2014 Indian television Malayalam language serial that launched on Asianet channel on 20 October 2014. It is one of the longest ran television soap opera on Malayalam television, having aired for five years and consisting of 1,450 episodes across four seasons. It is a spin-off of the 2011 TV series '' Kumkumapoovu''. In this the story takes place after the events of Kumkumapoovu in another families. Illekettu Namboothiri reprises his role of Satyasheelan from the predecessor. It is the first Malayalam serial to be remade in eight other Indian serials and six different Indian languages such as Hindi, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Bengali and Kannada.
